Dress Code

The intent of the dress code is so that people observing officials entering and leaving arenas are left with a favorable impression. Senior officials are to set a GOOD example for the younger officials. Keep in mind that a bad first impression is extremely tough to overcome and dressing appropriately will go a long ways in establishing that good first impression! The dress code is broken down to the various levels of hockey within the zone and province and what is expected of the officials working the various levels in terms of what they wear to their games.

AJHL, USport, ACAC: Shirt and tie, suit coat and or sweater, dress pants and dress shoes. Must be at the arena 60 minutes prior to puck drop. No baseball caps.

Senior, Jr. B, U18 AAA, U15 AAA: Shirt and sport coat and/or sweater, dress pants and dress shoes. Must be at the arena 45 minutes prior to puck drop. No baseball caps.

Minor Hockey: Clean dress pants and/or jeans. No baseball caps. No team jackets or apparel. Must be at the arena 30 minutes prior to puck drop.

Winter boots are acceptable in extreme conditions.
